BlueBird
Keeping children safe has always been the number one priority for student transportation professionals. Beyond keeping your passengers safe on the road ahead, there are additional ways to protect them while keeping your bus interior and components safe from damage. Please see our best disinfection practices.
We know that most districts are exploring ways to run their board meetings virtually during required shelter-in-place and school closures. We're pleased to share that we’ve added better support to link directly to the live meeting through the BoardDocs platform. We’ve created a series of how-to videos to learn about to take advantage of this functionality. Watch them here.
DonorsChoose
Aligning with NSBA best practices, the nonprofit DonorsChoose provides a safe way to give to public schools at no cost to teachers or schools. During Teacher Appreciation Week, the organization joined forces with citizen donors and corporate partners ranging from SONIC Drive-In to Google.org to raise millions towards classroom materials. The organization recently created an additional new project type, Distance Learning Projects, which assists verified public school educators with acquiring specific resources for distance learning. More information on Distance Learning Projects can be found here.
